550 Paracord is a Type III, Commercial Grade, 7 Strand Parachute Cord. Each cord is made of 100%, premium nylon. The 7 inner strands are made of twisted nylon strands and the outer sheath is made of 32 woven nylon strands. Together, each cord has a minimum breaking strength of 550 lbs.
